Two Different Views of K-12 Education in America  

 

A story in The New York Review of Books by Andrew Delbanco describes the diverging views of Diane Ravitch, leading historian of American public education who once worked for President George H.W. Bush, and Michelle Rhee, former Chancellor of Schools in Washington DC. Both have new books: Revitch’s book is , Reign of Error: The Hoax of the Privatization Movement and the Danger to America’s Public Schools.
