A Nature special issue on human microbiota will be available free on line for six months.

Read "My, Myself and Us,” an essay in The Economist, which explains a human being can be viewed as an ecosystem that contains many collaborating and competing species. The microbiome, as the body's commensal bacteria are known, is increasingly a subject of scientific research. It's known to play a crucial role in a vast assortment of propensities for illness and health.
