This paper explores some connections between psychotherapy and complexity science, and interprets recent developments in psychotherapy from a complexity perspective.

It also proposes that a complexity science grounded psychotherapy "is the fifth great wave of psychotherapy, the first four being psychoanalysis, behaviourism, general systems theory and constructivism."
