Santa Fe Institute launches Introduction to Complexity Science course

This free 11-session course is the first in a series of Santa Fe Institute MOOCs (massive open online courses) Melanie Mitchell, a professor of computer science at Portland State University and an external SFI professor, is the instructor. Mitchell is author of the critically acclaimed book Complexity, A Guided Tour. The first lecture was available February 4 and is still online so you can catch up. This course covers the basic scientific ideas underlying complexity, though students need not have advance math or scientific knowledge. A SFI certificate is available for those who successfully complete the course. Click here for more information
