With more than five decades of work in market research, government service, political campaigns and advising Fortune 500 companies, Vincent Barabba has developed a keen understanding of academic theory and practice, and a philosophical bent that combines business rigor with an appreciation of stories, poetry and the enigmas of human interaction. His book The Decision Loom: A Design for Interactive Decision Making in Organizations offers engaging and detailed suggestions for the many ways systems thinking, design thinking and complexity theory can be understood and used to reach solutions that work in an unpredictable ever-changing world. Marc Narkus-Kramer has worked in Air Traffic Control modernization for CAASD/MITRE for 25 years. He has worked with German Air Traffic Control Authorities, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration,and was a major contributor to the Central European Regional Aerospace Management Project sponsored by the Partnership for Peace initiative, He is National Airspace System architect for CAASD/MITRE, responsible for helping integrate the entire work program through out the organization. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics, and also has a master’s in international business management. He has been involved in management transformational activities within the aviation community. Lisa Kimball is an experienced entrepreneur, a skilled facilitator with expertise in liberating structures and other complexity-inspired change processes, and the president of Plexus Institute.
